Homer Ray Terry, 79, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020.

Born October 16, 1941 in Rockbridge County, he was the son of the late Golden Homer Terry Sr. and Annie Hostetter Terry.

He was also preceded in death by sisters, Nellie T. Boyd and Ruth T. Ramsey and a brother, Robert Terry.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Terry; daughters, Amy T Lawson (Santos), Anita T. Mayo (John), Caraline T. Williams, and Shonna L. Buzzard (Alan); brothers, Golden H. Terry Jr. (Bonnie) and Jessie J. Terry; several nieces and nephews; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted Monday 2 p.m. January 4 at Green Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Howard Boswell.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation at 1009 Duquesne Blvd., Duquesne, PA 15110.

Masks and social distances are required.
