Obituary for Melvin Worth Clark Sr. Melvin Worth Clark Sr.
Melvin Clark Trucking Owner Was Greater Vision Pentecostal Assembly Member

Melvin Worth Clark Sr. of Buena Vista, Virginia, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital.

Born March 15, 1932 in Amherst County, he was the son of the late John Henry Clark and Lelia Ann Tyree Clark.

He was a member of the Greater Vision Pentecostal Assembly and a devoted Christian.

He was the owner and operator of Melvin Clark Trucking where he was a truck driver for over 55 years.

Melvin was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years, Lucy Lucinda Woods Clark; an infant son; and his beloved grandson, Jamie Blackman.

Surviving are his five children: son, Melvin Worth Clark Jr. and daughters, Diana Gail Clark, Debra Clark Roudabush and Rebecca Mae Clark, all of Buena Vista, and son, Timothy Alan Clark (Mukda) of Seattle, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Stella C. Spence, St. Augustine, Fla.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, February 8, 2021 at Green Hill Cemetery with Pastor Steve Ramsey officiating.

Masks and social distancing are required.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
