Paul Lee Crizer Jr., 61, of 1322 S. David Ave., Covington, Virginia, died Wednesday. February 3, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Crizer was born December 29, 1959 in Covington, the son of the late Paul Lee Sr. and Marie Hepler Crizer.

He worked at the Greenbrier Hotel as a housekeeper for a number of years.

He loved to watch all the University of Virginia sports as well as play golf, read and spending time with his friends.

In keeping with his wishes his body has been cremated.

Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Dawn Martin Crizer of Covington; a step son, Robert Cale and wife, Liz of Oldsmar, FL.; a step grandson, Max Cale of Oldsmar, FL, Frank Hepler whom he thought of as his brother, and a number of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephanie Clark officiating.

Interment will follow the service at Alleghany Memorial Park.

The family suggests memorial contributions in Mr. Crizer's name may be made to the American Cancer Society at P. O. Box 22478 Oklahoma City, Ok 73123 or the Alzheimer Association at 8180 Greensboro Dr., Suite 400, McLean, VA 22102.
