White Sulphur Springs Resident Was Retired Carpenter

Theron B. (Bill) Hitchcock, Jr., 77, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, formerly of Northern Virginia, passed away February 5, 2021 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Bill was born August 14, 1943 in Delano, California, the son of the late Theron B. and Catherine Ponchart Hitchcock, Sr.

He was a carpenter by trade.

Preceding Bill in death, other than his parents, was his wife, Cora DeWitt Hitchcock; son, Mark Hitchcock; step daughter, Kathy Williams; step son, Donald Hall and a brother, Laton Hartman.

Surviving are his daughter, Misty Hitchcock of White Sulphur Springs; step daughters, Rita Keeney of Culpepper, VA and Lisa Howard of Caldwell, WV; step sons, Lonnie Hall, Jr. of Lewisburg and John Hall of Lewisburg; daughter-in-law, Heather Craft-Hitchcock; special friend, Thelma Pomeroy of Lewisburg; sisters, Joyce Robertson of Sitka, AK., Cathy Strong of California City, CA., Linda Ray of Greenville, NC., and Nancy Campbell of Winston-Salem, NC.; 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the near future.
