Obituary for William Ronald DeWitt William Ronald DeWitt
Caldwell Resident Was U. S. Navy Veteran, Retired High Voltage Technician

William Ronald DeWitt, 82, of Caldwell, WV, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.

Born December 19, 1938 in Walla Walla, WA, he was the son of the late Thomas Frederick and Hazel Marie Menginiot DeWitt.

Mr. DeWitt has a U. S. Navy veteran.

He retired as a high voltage technician.

He loved bass fishing, bowling, watching sports on television.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Kitching; brother, Gene DeWitt and a sister, Barbara Harmon.

Survivors include his loving wife of forty-seven and a half years, Elvina Garnett DeWitt, stepsons, James K. Reed Jr. (Leslye) of Maryland, Robert A. Reed (Lori) of Mt. Airy, MD and Ronald Reed (Dina) of Maui, HI; brother, Lee DeWitt of Walla Walla, WA; sister, Diane Nickleson of Walla Walla, WA; brothers-in-law, Marvin Zimmerman Jr. and Jackie Lee Zimmerman; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a very special great grandson, Damon L. Quick.

It was Mr. DeWitt's wish to be cremated.
