He was born November 5, 1964 in Covington, the son of Lois and the late Divus Linwood Bostic.

Other than his father, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, James and Laura McDowell and his parental grandparents, Jess and Neomi Bostic.

Michael was a loving father, son, brother and friend. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Everyone that knew Michael will always remember his smile, the way he was able to make others laugh, his ability to fix any and everything, and his willingness to help those around him.

Michael grew up in White Sulphur Springs and attended Greenbrier East High School. He was a remarkable mechanic, spending time working on cars at Old White Motor Company in White Sulphur Springs. He went on to work at Wal Mart Tire and Lube in Lewisburg, where he was service manager. He later left to become the service manager at Ford Motor Company in Covington, VA., where he was awarded many certificates for his work.

In his later years, Michael joined Southern Air, where he was an electrician, and helped in the building of the new dorms at Virginia Tech University. Michael was always a hard-worker, great provider and was loved by all his co-workers.

Left to cherish Michael's memory are his loving and devoted mother, Lois June McDowell Bostic, who stood by his side and cared for him throughout this illness; brothers, Marty and Nick (Maggie) Bostic; sons, Levi (Hannah) and Ryan (Emily) Bostic; nephews, Chad, Derek, Jeremiah, Evan, Ethan; nieces, Jordonne and Katelyn.
