Travis Matthew Ashlock, of Covington, Virginia, died Thursday, February 25, 2021.

Travis was born October 31, 2006 in Newport News, Virginia.

He was a student at the Rivermont School in Covington.

Survivors include his mother, Wanda Ashlock (Deandria Brown); one sister, Lawanda Ashlock; two brothers, Tyshawn Ashlock and Oswald Ashlock; and grandmother, Sylvia Mansfield, all of Covington; an aunt, Patty Osborne (Larry Nemergut) of Gloucester, VA; and several cousins including Tina Osborne and Jayden Osborne, both of Covington.

In keeping with his family's wishes, his body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 6, 2020 at 1 p.m. in the Arritt Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Donnie Bowker officiating. Friends attending the service are asked to wear red, white, and black as a tribute to Travis' favorite cartoon character, Mickey Mouse.
