Obituary for Patrick Joseph Brown Patrick Joseph Brown
Covington Resident Worked With The Covington Water Treatment Plant

Patrick Joseph Brown, age 57, of 907 South Highland Avenue Rear, Covington, Virginia, died Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.

He was born October 25, 1963 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Clarence Taft Brown, Sr. and Beulah Mae Broughman Brown.

He was an employee of the City of Covington at the waste water treatment plant.

He loved motorcycles and automobiles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence T. Brown, Jr. and Bruce Paxton, and a sister, Chrystal Brown.

He is survived by a sister, Darlene Brown of Hot Springs; five brothers, Donald Brown and wife, Kathy, Richard Brown and wife, Rosalyn, Michael Brown and wife, Susie, Patrick Brown, and Everett Brown, all of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Melissa Smith of Fredericksburg.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Donald Brown officiating.
