Natural Bridge Station Resident Dies At Age 95
Beulah Johnson Wilson Ruble, 95, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia, died Monday, March 1, 2021 at her home.
Born November 26, 1925 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late John Armstrong Johnson and Katie Evelyn Austin Johnson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Lee A. Wilson and Estern "Bob" Hill Ruble; sisters, Hester Brads and Betsy Claytor; and brothers, Ward, Robert, Sam, Ross, Jasper and Andrew; and a stepdaughter, Gigi.
Mrs. Ruble was a long-time dedicated member of the Arnolds Valley Southern Baptist Church, and retired from Burlington Industries after over 40 years of service.
Surviving are her children, Carolyn Lee Anderson (Dan) of Centerville, John Andrew Wilson (Charlene) of Natural Bridge Station, and Timothy Neal Wilson (Lisa) of Moneta; sister, Mary Tomlin of Buena Vista; six grandchildren, Bridget Martin, Val Juarez, Jonathan Wilson, Kristin Lineberry, Travis Wilson and Jenn Catlett; 12 great-grandchildren; and stepchildren Brenda, Zandra, Debbie, Tom, Eddie, Glenna and Chase.
The family will have a private service at Arnolds Valley Southern Baptist Church, and a public graveside service at 3 p.m. Friday, March 5 at Glasgow Cemetery with the Rev. Donald Stine officiating. Mask and social distancing will be required.
The family would like to thank Havenwood for all of the care provided to their mother.
