Howard Robert (Bob) Drake, 58, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away May 6, 2021, doing what he loved, fishing on the Maury River.

Born July 20, 1962, he was the son of Donald G. Drake and the late Eleanor Imboden Drake.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jenny S. Drake and son, Bradley Drake.

Surviving are his children, Cassie Drake and Dakota Drake; grandchild, Peyson Drake; stepmother, Jean W. Drake; sisters, Laurie Drake, Beverly Drake, Caroline Amsel, and Elizabeth Drake-Coleman.

A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
