Mr. Charles William Smith, age 58, of Covington, Virginia died Thursday, May 13, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Smith was born June 12, 1962 in Virginia, the son of the late Charles Bonner Smith and Nannie Bell Crouse.

During his working career, he had been employed as a construction worker. Charles enjoyed tinkering with and repairing small engines in his spare time.

Mr. Smith is survived by two sisters, Patricia Smith Geary and Joann Lovern; three nephews, Charlie Mace, James Hiser, Anthony Hiser; two nieces, Tiffany Redman and Amber Clemmer; and his beloved dog, Smokey.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
