Oscar Lee Richardson, 78, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Wednesday, May 12, 2021.

Born April 4, 1943 in Amherst County, he was the son of the late James Edward Richardson and Carrie Carter Richardson.

He was employed at Reeves Brothers until it closed and then at Buena Vista Public Works Department until he retired.

Surviving are his son, Terrence Nowlin; sisters, Sadie Douglas, Maxine Richardson and Dorothy Richardson; and a granddaughter.

A graveside service was conducted Monday, May 17 at Green Hill Cemetery by Pastor Danta Thompson-Johnson.

Arrangements were handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
