Clifton Forge Resident Was Cashier, Molder, Truck Driver

Virginia Lucille Musser Stone, age 80, of 5105 Longdale Furnace Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Woodlands Health and Rehab Center, Clifton Forge.

She was born November 14, 1940 in Arizona to the late Wayne Mervel Musser Sr. and Virgie Mildred McCulley.

She was a cashier at various convenience stores, a molder for Arcadia and a truck driver.

She enjoyed gardening, kayaking and spending time with her dog, Blue.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Stone; and a daughter, Paula Jones.

She is survived by a son, David Altizer of Roanoke; a sister, Helen Frances Taylor of Pasadina, MD; two brothers, Thomas Edward "Tommy" Musser and wife, Velma of Greensboro, NC and Wayne Mervel Musser, Jr. and wife, Carol Sue of Sherman, TX; two grandchildren, Jai Jones and Gabriel Jones; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Paul Brokaw officiating. The family will visit with friends at Nicely Funeral Home following the service.
