Tyler Keith Holstein, 64, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Augusta Medical Center.

Born April 12, 1957 in Roanoke County, he was a son of the late Everett Guy Holstein and Martha Jeanne Prillaman Holstein.

Tyler was a member of the Rockbridge Community Church of the Nazarene where he worshipped the God he loved.

He liked jokes and had a boisterous laugh that made everyone laugh with him. He enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing in the great outdoors.

Tyler was inspired by music and learned how to play the drums. He loved to watch western movies and sports, but most of all he loved his family and the time he got to spend with them.

Surviving are his wife, Grace Holstein; children, Jessica Lipscomb (Jamie), and Guy Holstein (Kayla); a brother, Phillip Holstein; and five grandchildren, Taylor, Ella, Emery, Tori and Julia.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 21 at 4 p.m. at the Mill Hole, the Williams Farm on McClung Road.
