Janet Leigh Taylor Armentrout, age 47, of 501 Wintergreen Avenue, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at her residence.

She was born March 16, 1974 in Covington, Virginia to Jerry and Darlene Tyler Taylor.

She was a former project manager for Blue Cross – Blue Shield of Florida. She recently moved from Florida to be closer to her family and friends in the Alleghany Highlands.

She loved her children, her animals, and the Virginia Tech Hokies.

In addition to her parents, Jerry and Darlene of Covington, she is survived by her husband, Clifford Raymond Armentrout; a daughter, Callie Taylor Armentrout; and two sons, Michael Tyler Makauskas and Andrew Steven Makauskas, all of Clifton Forge; a sister, Susan Taylor Kennedy and husband, David of Covington; a brother, Jerry Ray Taylor and wife, Debbie of Clifton Forge; four nieces and nephews, Lauren Taylor Hanna, Ashby Taylor, Hannah Taylor Pauley, and Jeremy Kennedy; and a number of great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
