UTC Production Employee Was Army 101st Airborne Division Veteran

Ronald Wayne Shockley, 70, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, passed away, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at his residence in Lewisburg.

Born October 6, 1950 at Floyd, Virginia, he was a son of Geneva M. Phillips Shockley of Lewisburg, and the late Fielding V. Shockley.

Ronald was a production worker for U.T.C. aerospace products and transportation systems and was an Army veteran with the 101st Airborne division.

He is survived by his wife Kimberly Berry Shockley; a son, Marcus Wayne Shockley (Georgia) of Lewisburg; two grandchildren, Austin and Skylar Shockley; a sister, Kimberly Mayes of Fairlea and a brother, Stephen Larry Shockley of Ronceverte.

There will be a visitation from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 immediately followed by a graveside service with Military Honors at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg, with Pastor Everett Hat Defibaugh officiating.

The family requests those in attendance to please wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
