Nancy Lee Brooks, age 74, of Millboro, Virginia, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Bath County Community Hospital.

She was born January 20, 1947 in Bath County to the late James Marshall and Frances Kennedy Ingram.

In addition to her parents, Lee was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Ingram; a brother-in-law, Tom Bosserman; and a great granddaughter, Callie Nicely.

She is survived by her loving husband, Henry Brooks; two sisters, Barbara Loyd (Jimmy) and Peggy Bosserman; a brother, Sammy Ingram (Debbie); a sister-in-law, Thelma Ingram; a son, Roger Ingram and his soulmate, April Robinson; two grandchildren, Allen Ingram and his companion, Megan Lilley and Sha Ingram; four great grandchildren, Breanna Ingram, Rhaevyn Ingram, Rayne Lilley and Kaylee Bane; seven nieces and nephews, Mark, Kevin, Barry and Sandy Bosserman, Cristy Loyd Myers, Lisa Ingram Miller and J. J. Ingram. She will also be missed by two special kitties, Rascal and Max.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Millboro, with Reverend Blake Reese officiating.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions be made directly to Nicely Funeral Home.
