James (Jimmy) Keith Hardy, 56, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Saturday, September 11, 2021 at his home.

He was born November 9, 1964 in Delaware to the late Thomas Henry Hardy Jr. and Regina Hardy Dorey.

He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Alfred Dorey.

Surviving are his daughter, Heather "Monkey" Hardy; stepdaughter, Quintessa Conner; son, Marty Graves; brother, Melvin Dorey; and sisters, Priscilla Dorey and Nancy Dorey Gilbert.

A funeral will be conducted on Friday, September 17 at 2 p.m. at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Adam Williams and the Rev. W. David Bain.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
