Mark W. McClung, 77, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, passed away of a sudden illness on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Mark was born June 25, 1944 in Charmco, WV, the son of the late C. Witt McClung and Mildred McClung Craig.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Carmon, Dennis and Bryan.

Mark is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debbie, and three children; Neil (Nikki) of Asbury, WV, Ryan (Kristen) of Lewisburg, WV, and Amanda (Billy Bobbitt) of Lynchburg, VA. He adored his four grandchildren: Katherine McClung, Kendall McClung, Drew McClung and Eleanor Bobbitt; also surviving is his brother, Alan McClung (Brevard, NC); brother-in-law, Jon Perry (Huntington, WV) and sister-in-law, Judy Stephens (Milton, WV).

He was a member of Lewisburg United Methodist Church, the Lewisburg Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks and a former trustee of the Greenbrier County Youth Camp.

Other than his family his passions were farming and spending time at his cabin on the Greenbrier River.

His wishes were to be cremated and have his ashes spread on the family farm.

The family suggests no flowers but memorial contributions be made to either the Greenbrier County Youth Camp, 21-8 Anthony Creek Road, Frankford, WV 24938 or the Greenbrier County 4-H Foundation, P. O. Box 88, Frankford, WV 24938.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
