Wade McClure Roberts, 58, of Buena Vista, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 2, 2021.

He is survived by his mother, Charlotte Hamilton Roberts; his wife, Karen Clark Roberts; two daughters, Amanda Plogger and Heather Taylor (Jonathan); two sons, Travis (Stephanie) and Trevor Roberts; a special brotherin-law/friend, Shawn Clark; special friend, Brian Loudermilk; two grandsons and four granddaughters; five brothers; two sisters; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Wade was preceded in death by his father, Buddy Lee Roberts.

Wade left way too soon. He was a great dad, son, brother, and husband. He coached his brothers, sons and the community. He supported the Blues, win or lose, and was a die hard Cowboy's fan.

A graveside service was conducted Thursday, September 9 at Green Hill Cemetery with Marshall Hamilton and Steven Baldridge officiating. A memorial service followed at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Buena Vista.

Arrangements were handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
