Tammy Sue Ellen Richmond, age 61, of 800 Dagger Springs Road, Eagle Rock, Virginia, died Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

She was born January 17, 1960 in Covington, Virginia to Mary Frances Downey Richmond of Clifton Forge and the late Mason Edward Richmond, Sr.

Tammy attended Galatia Evangelical Presbyterian Church, and was a lifetime waitress and cook. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning, horses and rabbits.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her partner, Carroll Campbell of Eagle Rock; two daughters, Kimberly Martin and her husband, Randy of Farmville, Kerrie Hoke of Eagle Rock; a son, Scott Rowan of Covington; six brothers, Wayne Richmond of Covington, Dale Richmond of Clifton Forge, Mason Richmond of Bedford, Jimmy Richmond of Selma, Timmy Richmond of Clifton Forge and Willie Richmond of Kentucky; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Galatia Cemetery, Eagle Rock, with Reverend Robert McRae officiating. Interment will immediately follow.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, Virginia, is in charge of arrangements.
