H. Ernestine Crawford, 89, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away peacefully with daughter, Carol at her home in North Carolina on Monday, October 4, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lee Crawford Sr.; and sons, Edward and Frank Crawford.

Ernestine lived in Buena Vista.

She loved cooking and baking. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed her time at the Maury River Senior Center in Buena Vista from 2002 to 2019. Special thanks to all of her friends from both of these places.

Surviving are sister, Jean Rowsey Montgomery; children, Albert "Johnny" Crawford Jr. of West Virginia, Rachel Austin (John) of Arizona, Lois Crawford (Wayne) of Virginia, Carol Clark (Richard) of North Carolina, and Karen Crawford (Russell) of Virginia; grandchildren, Buffy Ratliff (Lee), Stephanie Wynkop (Billy), Brandy Lester (Dan), Christopher Crawford, all from Virginia; great-grandchildren, Mareena Davis, Sammy, Mahala, and Leyla Ratliff from Virginia; great-great-grandchild, Lilly Turner; and special niece, Tessa Rowsey Fields.

The family will have a private service. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery.
