Danny Lee Floyd, 73, of Greenwood, Virginia, left his earthly life behind and moved into his eternal heavenly home on October 17, 2021.

He is survived by his two sons, Benjamin Floyd of Afton and Aaron Floyd of Greenwood; grandson, Cannon Floyd of Afton; daughter-in-law, Casey Floyd of Afton; sisters, Sharon Fick of Fredericksburg, Debbie Floyd of Clifton Forge and Lori Wadding of West Deptford, N.J. He is also survived by a niece, nephews, aunts and brothers-in-law.

Born and raised in Buena Vista, Virginia, Danny was a Crozet community member for over 40 years, working at Acme Visible Records, Quick File and Crozet Great Valu during that time.

He was a member of the U. S. Army and a proud Vietnam veteran.

A memorial service will be held at McDow Funeral Home, 1701 West Main Street, Waynesboro, VA 22980 on Tuesday, November 2 at 2 p.m.
