Obituary for Debbie Lee Baldwin Debbie Lee Baldwin
Homestead Cook/Manager Was Lifeline Ministry Member

Debbie Lee Baldwin, 65, of 1696 Jackson River Turnpike, Covington, Virginia, died Sunday, November 28, 2021 in Reston Hospital Center in Reston.

Mrs. Baldwin was born January 28, 1956 in Bath County, a daughter of Nina Frances (Granny B) Smith Baldwin and the late Peter J. Baldwin Jr.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Lee Hiner, and a sister, Jewell Brummitte.

She was a cook/manager at the Homestead Hotel. She was a member of Lifeline Ministry.

In accordance with her wishes, her body has been cremated.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Glenn Hiner and wife, Penny of Covington; a daughter, Melissa Auldridge of Hot Springs; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; five sisters, Carolyn Hise and John Hart, Diana Shifflett and husband, Hugh, ad Phyllis Lindsay and husband, Robert, all of Hot Springs, Arlene Meade of Scott County, and Mary Simmons of McDowell; two brothers, Richard Baldwin and Daniel Baldwin, both of Hot Springs; the father of her children, Jay Hiner Jr.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Arritt Funeral Home.
