Obituary for Nancy Lee Critzer Dobbs Nancy Lee Critzer Dobbs
Clifton Forge Resident Was Retired Secretary For The Virginia State Police

Nancy Lee Critzer Dobbs, age 86, of 404 Main Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died December 1, 2021 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke.

She was born August 12, 1935 in Covington, Virginia to the late John Lewis and Louise Corrine Peaco Critzer.

She was a retired secretary for the Virginia State Police and a long standing member of Central United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Edward Franklin Smith; her husband, Howard Richard Dobbs; a son, Sidney Howard Dobbs; and a brother, Harmon F. Critzer.

She is survived by a son, Richard K. "Rick" Dobbs; two grandchildren, Kayla Dobbs Yellman and husband, Eric, and Nicholas Edward Dobbs; and two great grandchildren, Tanner J. Yellman and Grant Peaco Yellman.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Historic Masonic Theatre Preservation Foundation, 510 Main Street, P. O. Box 119, Clifton Forge, VA 24422 or to the Cowpasture River Preservation Association, P. O. Box 215, Millboro, VA 24460.
