Howard Clarence Link Jr., 63, of Natural Bridge, Virginia, died Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born August 8, 1958 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Howard Clarence Link Sr. and Truda May Goodwin Link.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Coffey Link.

Howard was employed at Mohawk Industries for 40 years.

In his spare time, he was a logger and enjoyed farming.

Surviving are his daughter, Haley Link (Ryan); grandchildren, Bentley, Hunter, Hazelynn and Riverlynn; stepdaughter, Lisa Ramsey (David); step grandchildren, Tamara, Justin and Brandon, fiancé; Charlotte Mays; special friends, Allen Hostetter and Mike Walker; and beloved canine friend, Tank.

A graveside service will be at the Link Farm Cemetery with Mike Walker officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Natural Bridge Fire Department, 5705 S. Lee Highway, Natural Bridge, VA 24578.
