William Franklin Fitzgerald, 85, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021.

Born February 7, 1936 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Noid Randolph Fitzgerald and Ollie May Bradley Fitzgerald.

Surviving are his wife, Sarah Fitzgerald; son, Dennis Fitzgerald; and grandson, Kyle Fitzgerald.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 7 at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
