Stella Brant Simms, 84, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg, WV.

Born June 13, 1937, in Lewisburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Dorsey Eldon and Mary Eva Bowyer Brant.

Stella was a mother and homemaker who loved sewing, quilting, growing flowers, painting, and bowling.

She worked at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in medical records and was the Director of Volunteers for several years.

Survivors include three daughters, Tia Dawn Simms (Barbara McDonald) of Worden, IL, Marla Michelle Simms (Creig Kostoff) of Bothell, WA, and Lara Larissa Montgomery (Douglas) of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Dorothy Williams (Claude) of Lewisburg, WV and Grace Brant of Lewisburg, WV; grandchildren, Sean Montgomery, Erin Montgomery and a step grandson, Preston Kostoff; several nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Andy Howdock officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg, WV.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Saturday at the funeral home.
