Lewisburg Resident Was U. S. Army Veteran, Former Crawford's IGA Employee

Clarence Stanley Crookshanks, 72, of Lewisburg, West Virginia went home to be with his Lord, Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.

Born November 8, 1949 in Caldwell, WV, he was the son of the late Clarence "Doc" and Lula Mae Zimmerman Crookshanks.

Clarence was a U. S. Army Veteran. He worked for Crawfords and IGA for over thirty-five years and retired from Greenbrier County Schools as a bus driver.

Survivors include his loving wife, Annice Lea Bostic Crookshanks; children, James Crookshanks (Sherri) of Caldwell, WV, Melissa Walton of Spring Lake, NC; grandchildren, Tiara Hairston (Tommie) of Ft. Campbell, KY, Roland Robinson (Brianna) of Fayetteville, NC, Payton Robinson of White Sulphur Springs, WV and Myia Crookshanks of Caldwell, WV; sister, Teresa Frack (Bill) of Clinton, NC; aunt, Irene Morgan of Caldwell, WV; seven great grandchildren, his puppies and grandpups whom he loved.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor Kenny Baker officiating. There will be no visitation.
