As professor emeritus, Dr. Lamont pursued his writing and consulting activities in retirement.

Dr. Lamont also joined World Association for Case Method Research & Application (WACRA) and presented research on case studies every summer for eight years, traveling and presenting academic programs with Dr. Anne Schroer-Lamont in England, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Hungary and the Czech Republic.

A memorial service in his honor will be held April 23 at 11 a.m. at Grace Episcopal, located at 123 W. Washington St., next to the W&L campus. The service will include the installation of ashes in the Columbarium of the Sanctuary, followed by a reception in the gathering room downstairs.

His daughters would like to thank the staff at The Mayflower and Rockbridge Area Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
