Pamela Sheets Lawhorne, 59, of Fairfield, Virginia, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the Shenandoah House in Fishersville.

Surviving are the love of her life and husband of over 31 years, Jeffrey Lawhorne of Fairfield; her children and the joys of her life, son, Dane Lawhorne and fiancé, Susie Kirschner of Redlands, Calif., and daughter, Abigail Lawhorne of Charlottesville. She is also survived by her parents Marie and David Berry of Bastian; brother, Gary Sheets of Dublin; sister, Mary Turner of Bluefield, W.Va.; brother, Dennis Sheets of Beckley, W.Va.; and special aunt, Allene Sink of Daytona Beach, Fla.

Born August 23, 1962 in Richlands, she grew up in Tazewell County and graduated from Radford University. She spent her career as a Certified Public Accountant until motherhood became her calling. She set aside her career to devote her life to her family and children, a decision she never regretted.

Special thanks to the Hospice of the Shenandoah, the Shenandoah House nurses, and especially to Kaitlyn who was there for her since August.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 26 at Green Hill Cemetery in Buena Vista with Pastor Ray Newton officiating. Her family welcomes you to honor her love of spring and bright personality by wearing spring colors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shenandoah House, 111 North Campus Drive, Fishersville, VA.
