Michael Wayne Caldwell, 70, of Glasgow, Virginia, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at his home.

Born October 15, 1951 in Lexington, he was a son of the late Alexander M. Caldwell and Mildred Tolley Caldwell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Rice Caldwell.

Mike was a faithful member of the Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship Church and a talented musician. He played the trombone for the church worship team for many years.

Surviving are his son, Christopher Caldwell; sister, Patricia Koontz; and many friends.

A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 2 at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wes Galford officiating. Burial will follow at Glasgow Cemetery. A visitation will be one hour before the service.
