Virginia Clark Trussell, 85, of Lexington, Virginia, died Friday, April 29, 2022 at Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital.

Born October 8, 1936 in Lexington, she was a daughter of William Clark and Nellie Lee Clark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Trussell.

Surviving are her children, Mandy Brothers of Lynchburg, and Donna Slagle, Ronnie Trussell and Darlene Rogers, all of Lexington; sisters, Doris Sandridge and Nadine Staton; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 6 at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Thomas Clark. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 5 at Harrison Funeral Home.
