Mrs. Carolyn Bryan (Tootsie) Landis, of Covington, a resident of Alleghany County, Virginia, the wife of Wayne R. Landis, passed away on May 5, 2022 at her residence.

She was born in Covington, Virginia on December 6, 1936, the daughter of the late Arthur H. Bryan and Garnett Hickman Bryan.

Carolyn worked as a legal secretary for various law firms for many years.

In her spare time, she loved to read and do word search puzzles.

Mrs. Landis is survived by two sisters, Lois Brown of Covington and Deborah Marcussen of Chesterfield, VA; one nephew, Chris Lockhart of Midlothian, VA; and one great nephew, Andrew Garritano of Hawaii.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Bryan and a brother-in-law, Ronald Brown.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2022 at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Chris Fisher officiating.
