Lois Flint Wood, 82, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away November 25, 2022.

She was born January 16, 1940, the daughter of the late Little Flint and Laura Bell Chittum Hartless.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by two sons, Milton Floyd and Charles Wood, and a grandson, Jaime Tomlin.

Surviving are her children, Patricia Tomlin (Keith), Bo Floyd, Melissa Wood and Marie Snider (Junie); grandchildren, Chasity Tomlin, Colby Tyree, Chuck Wood Jr., Cody Wood, Melody Ring, Beau Floyd Jr., Derrick Floyd and Hailey Huffman; and great-grandchildren, Micah, Makenna, Brey, Zack and Noah.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and a member of Victory Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, December 2 at Green Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Dean Staton.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rockbridge Area Hospice.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
