Dennis Eugene Persinger, age 68, of The Springs Nursing Center in Hot Springs, Virginia died Thursday, November 24, 2022 at The Springs.

Dennis was born March 13, 1954 in Alleghany County, Virginia to the late James Marvin Persinger, Sr. and Mary Alice Dudding Persinger.

He worked in the recycling business for Jackson River Enterprises.

He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Ray Persinger; a half-brother, O'Dell Dudding; maternal grandparents, Zelotes and Lola Dudding; and paternal grandparents, Rufus and Minnie Persinger.

He is survived by a brother, James "Moon" Persinger of Covington, as well as a number of cousins.

A private graveside service will be held at Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor.
