Thomas Massie Whitten, 59, of Fairfield, Virginia, died Sunday, March 19, 2023 at his home.

Born August 7, 1963 in Fairfield, he was a son of Leroy Whitten and Ruby Fitzgerald.

In addition to his parents, he also was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kaci Leigh Whitten, and special cannine friend, Zeb.

Thomas was a member of Fairfield United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra Kay Whitten; children, Thomas Matthew Whitten (Brandy), and Melissa Lowery (Keith); siblings, Trudy Cash, Timothy Whitten, Donnie Whitten and Ronnie Whitten; uncle, Phil Fitzgerald; two grandsons, Logan Whitten and Landon Fretwell; best friend, Randy Bilbeisi; and his cat, Snoopy.

No service will be held at this time.
