Josephine Isabel Barton Baker, 84, of Rockbridge Baths, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006 in the Shenandoah Valley Health Care Center in Buena Vista.

Mrs. Baker was born on November 14, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of the late James H. Barton and Josephine Young Barton.

Mrs. Baker is survived by her husband, Paul Dennis Baker of Rockbridge Baths; two daughters: Adrienne Crowder of Buena Vista and Stephanie Ann Rodriguez of West Point, Utah; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m on Monday, April 17, 2006 in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. David Dickerson officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by The Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
