Former Buena Vista Resident Dies At Age 89
Violet M. Johnson, 89, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, formerly of Buena Vista, died Friday, April 21, 2006 at her home.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husbands, Floyd Schad, Leroy Row, and Vernon Johnson.
She is survived by one son, Floyd F. Schad of Fredericksburg; two granddaughtters: four great grandchildren; one brother, Earl Kemmerly of New Castle, PA; and six stepchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel.
A funeral will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2006 at the Lomax Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery.
The Lomax Funeral Home is handling the local arrangements.
