Obituary for Grover Cleveland Hill Grover Cleveland Hill
Worked With Burlington For 44 Years

Grover Cleveland Hill, 84, of Natural Bridge Station, died Tuesday, May 2, 2006 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Hill was born on May 18, 1921 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late James Andrew Hill and Eva Frances Watkins Hill.

He was a member of the Beth Horon United Methodist Church and worked for Burlington Industries for 44 years and the Natural Bridge Wax Museum for 20 years.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by a son, James Andrew Hill, III.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Ruth Foster Hill of Natural Bridge Station; one daughter, Linda H. West and husband, William Ray West; one daughter-in-law, Mary Hill Covington; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2006 in the Glasgow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Glasgow Rescue Squad. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
