Mariellen Dunnington Greer, 81 of Buena Vista died Thursday, May 4, 2006 at her residence.

She was born May 22, 1924 in Elkhart, Indiana, daughter of the late Charles and LeOra Blenden Dunnington.

She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She was predeceased by her husband, Nello I. Greer.

She is survived by her children: Leslie L. Huch of Buena Vista, Charles D. Greer of Ankeny, Iowa and Scott I. Greer of Ramona, California; eleven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; foster daughters, Jill Paulus of Sisters, Oregon and Martha Martinez of Cornville, Arizona.

The funeral service will be conducted, 2 PM Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at the Lomax Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Keith Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, May 8, 2006 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Lomax Funeral Home.
