Ruth Beatrice Mikeal, 91, of Goshen, died Friday, May 5, 2006 in Loyalton of Staunton.

Mrs. Mikeal was born on July 5, 1914 in Goshen, the daughter of the late James Clifton Petty and Zola Lucille Agnor Petty.

She attended Goshen Baptist Church.

Mrs. Mikeal was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Dodd Mikeal.

Mrs. Mikeal is survived by her daughter, Judith M. Gross of Plymouth Meeting, PA; a son, Stephen D. Mikeal of Goshen; one brother, Harold Petty of Goshen; one sister, Beulah Stanley of Baltimore, MD; and a granddaughter, Rosa M. Martey and her daughter, Rowan, of Ft. Collins, Colorado.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2006 at the Goshen Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Reese officiating. Burial will follow in the Goshen Baptist Church Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made to the Goshen Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
