James Lloyd Clark, 62, of Fairfield, died Saturday, June 24, 2006 in the Shenandoah Valley Health Care Center in Buena Vista.

He was born in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Reese Coleman and Annie Virginia Bradds Clark.

Mr. Clark was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired from Woody Chevrolet.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Clark was preceded in death by a brother, Martin Clark and two sisters, Elizabeth Mautespaugh and Mildred Higgins.

Surviving are three brothers: Paul Clark of Lexington; Kester Clark of Buena Vista; and Reese Clark of Natural Bridge Station; three sisters: Lulla Hostetter of Lexington; Juanita Hall of Fairfield and Linda Moyer of Ruckersville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2006 in the Harrison Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Zeb Carson Williams. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
