Obituary for Kenneth B. Wiseman Kenneth B. Wiseman
U. S. Army Veteran Having Served In Korea

Kenneth B. Wiseman, 73, of Dover, Delaware, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at his home.

Mr. Wiseman was born on August 18, 1932 in Fairfield and was a son of the late Ernest and Mary Reese Wiseman.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in Korea. He retired from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Works after almost 39 years and fully enjoyed all of his retirement years. He also retired from I.B.E.W., Local 313, Wilmington.

He was a member of the Del-Rods since 1985 and National Street Rod Association since 1986. He was a life member since 1979 with the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter First State I, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Chapter 7447, of Rehoboth Beach.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joane Wiseman; two daughters, Gaye Marie Herpich of Rising Sun, DE, Tina M. Yun of Dover, DE; a son, Kenneth B. Wiseman, Jr. of Dunn, NC; a brother, Charles Wiseman of Baltimore, MD; two sisters, Julie Wiseman Hostetter of Lexington and Mary Wiseman Keiser of Buena Vista; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Services were held in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Chesapeake City Road in Bear, DE. Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Kent County Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901. Arrangements were handled by the Pippin Funeral Home in Wyoming, DE.
