Julie Gail Sweet, 66, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024 following a short illness.

Born July 22, 1957 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she was a daughter of Betty Lou Weikle Pomphrey and the late Earl Stanley Pomphrey.

Julie was a graphic arts designer for the Mountain Messenger Newspaper in Lewisburg.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Stanley Pomphrey.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband of 35 years, Claude Cary Sweet; daughters, Melissa Windon (Tom), Jenny Kaeb and Jesse Morgan; a son, Paul Sweet; mother, Betty Lou Weikle Pomphrey; a sister, Kim Jones; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date to be determined.

She is loved and will be missed.
