Nelson Lindberg Nicely Nelson Lindberg Nicely
Baptist Church Member Worked With Burlington For 23 Years

Nelson Lindberg Nicely, 78, of Lexington, died Saturday, July 29, 2006 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Nicely was born January 30, 1928 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Harry Samuel Nicely and Gertrude Octavin Entsminger Nicely.

He was a member of the Lexington Baptist Church.

Mr. Nicely worked 18 years for the Clover Creamery and 23 years for Burlington Industries.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Masil Black and a brother, Clyde Nicely.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine Sensabaugh Nicely; two daughters: Katrina Octavia Starbuck and husband Greg of Lynchburg; Debra L. of Lexington; a brother, Eugene Nicely and wife Carolyn of Natural Bridge Station; a sister, Aleta Hall and husband Peachy of Lexington; two granddaughters, one great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Michael Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Rockbridge Unit 100, Lexington, VA or the Rockbridge Area Hospice, P. O. Box 948, Lexington, VA 24450.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA. Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
