Obituary for William John Mahnken William John Mahnken
Was Retired From Lawrence Aviation

William John Mahnken, 74, of Fairfield, died Friday, July 28, 2006 at his home.

Mr. Mahnken was born in New York, a son of the late William Fredrick Mehnken and Catherine Meyers Mahnken.

He was a member of the St. Paul's Anglican Church in Lexington and was retired from Lawrence Aviation.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Estre Eldora Mahnken on July 6, 2006.

William leaves behind his son, Richard Charles Mahnken leaves behind a son and family: Richard Charles Mahnken, Donna Lynne, Thomas Christopher, Katheryn Elizabeth, Nicholas Richard, all of Florida; a son, John William Mahnken of New York; a sister and family, Carol, Ed, Judy, Max Ambrose; a sister Eleanor of Connecticut; Eleanor Puluso, Anthony, Anthony, Teresa, Tina of New York; a brother, Fredrick Mahnken, Debrra, Cindy, Fred Jr., Danny of New York; a brother, Bob O'Rourke Mahnken; a step-daughter, Rae Frances Davis Person Broughman and husband John; step-granddaughter, Carrie Eldora Person; step-great grandsons: Joseph Thomas Person Kutch, Tom Kutch; step-son, Edwin Aurthur Davis and wife Melody Davis; step-grandson, Spencer Michael Johnathan Clayton and Annelise Rose; step-son, Charles Matthew Davis; step-granddaughter Holley Erin Norton Davis Lingg; step-daughter, Diana Davis Donaldson Schrepf Trio and husband Michael Trio; step-granddaughter, Deirdre Rose Donaldson and fiance, Matthew Branford; and father, Burghardt Schrepf.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, July 30, 2006 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel by Father C. Thomas McHenry.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church, P. O. Box 1273, Lexington, VA 24450.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
