Sarah Lawhorne Coleman, 93, of Buena Vista, died Friday, October 27, 2006.

She was born in Amherst, a daughter of the late Benjamin F. Burch and Emma Henson Burch.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by her husband, Lacy Coleman, her second husband, Charles E. Lawhorne, and nine brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Doris Lawhorne McClung of Fairfield; a son, Charles Edward Lawhorne of Glasgow; and a brother, Bernard Burch of Buena Vista; two step sons, Leo coleman and Smoky Coleman; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 30, 2006 at the oronoco Brethren Church with Rev. Arnold Bradley, Rev. James Smals and Larry Coleman officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oronoco Brethren Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Sunday, October 29 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
