Obituary for Benjamin E. (Benny) Fauber Benjamin E. (Benny) Fauber
Life-Long Farmer Was Brownsburg Ruritan Member

Benjamin E. (Benny) Fauber, 86, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, November 7, 2006 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Lexington.

He was born October 20, 1920 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late George Wright Fauber and Ada Summers (Koogler) Fauber.

He was a member of the New Providence ARP Church, and a member of the Brownsburg Ruritans for 61 years with over 50 years of perfect attendance.

Mr. Fauber was a life-long farmer. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Saville Fauber on February 21, 200; a son, Charles Benjamin Fauber; a brother, Ralph F. Fauber; two half brothers, John Fauber and Alex Fauber; a half sister, Martha Hunt.

Surviving are a sister-in-law, Loreen Fauber of Fairfield; a nephew, George Fauber of Buena Vista; and three nieces.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the New Providence ARP Church Cemetery with Rev. Christopher Crotwell officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Providence ARP Church, 1208 New Providence Road, Raphine, Va. 24472. Those desiring to pay their respects may do so at any time at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
