Obituary for Donald C. (Bo) Ford Donald C. (Bo) Ford
White Sulphur Springs Resident, Marine Corps Veteran and Emmanuel United Methodist Church Member, Dies At Age 88

Donald C. (Bo) Ford, 88, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, passed away on August 9, 2026 at his residence with his daughters by his side.

He was born December 27, 1937 in White Sulphur Springs, the son of the late Russell and Daisy Ella Feury Ford.

Bo was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and was a U. S. Marines veteran.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid gardener.

Bo was retired from the Greenbrier Hotel, starting first as a security guard and then moving up to maintenance foreman in the engineering department.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Simmons Ford; daughter, Donna Linton and her husband, (Steve); sister, Betty Sue Ford and his brother, Harold Ford.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Deborah “Debbie” Ford Morgan (Terence Bittinger) and Kathryn “Kathy” Ford, both of White Sulphur Springs; sister, Mary Lou Fogus of White Sulphur Springs; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Ford will be Saturday August 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Chapel in White Sulphur Springs Rev. Chris Brewster officiating. A private graveside service will follow at Mapledale Cemetery.

The family will receive family and friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of services on Saturday August 15, 2026 at the funeral home.
